It’s been a chilly week. I’ve still been cycling to work most days, somewhat tentatively on snow and ice on occasion.

And a few decently long rides after work, down to Musselburgh, up past Cramond.

I’ve never got around to ordering cycling bib-tights, but I’ve discovered the joyous warmth of shorts over tights, with about 3 layers on the top. And my hands still get cold with double pairs of gloves on…

I went out for a couple of short runs during the week and it felt much better than last attempt, slightly painful still but getting better.

On Sunday I got out for a good cycle. Wrapped up warm and off down the coast to North Berwick (and out to Tantallon Castle) for about 50k. Good ride out, though apparently still not quite cycling-fit for longer rides.
